1.Supplied Content
1.1 YourFiction will handle submitted digital files with the utmost care and will only use them to carry out the assignment.
The copyright of supplied drawings remains with the designer/client. YourFiction may ask for consent for content mediums, such as portfolio, website and blogposts, but will remain true to privacy policy.
2.Production
2.1 Because of the intricasies of some materials, it is possibly that there will be small differences in similar products. Focus, dust, resins, thickness and build of materials can vary which may result in ever so slight production differences between each object.
These are often so small that they aren’t perceived easily, just note they’re there.
2.2 Production will only start when payment has been made. For large scale merch productions for businesses, we accept down payments for materials depending on our agreement. For consumer products, production cannot start without full payment.
3.Material
3.1 Though YourFiction will do their best to provide safe projects, we’re still working with steel, wood, cork, acrylics and even resins. Tampering with these materials outside our production in ways that will release fumes, dust, sharp edges and roots, are out of our jurisdiction and control.
4.Urgent Orders
4.1 Urgent orders that need to be delivered in a short (possible) time can bring additional fees. This is dependent on the scale of the order. These orders can bring general production on a halt and endanger overall end dates.
5.Agreement
5.1 Agreements can happen in form of a quotation/invoice, store commerce, mail or in conversation. These conversations include any electronic or real time conversation, such as telegram, whatsapp, at meetups and during calls. YourFiction will not produce unless said agreements have been made.
5.2 When agreements are made, assume production has already started. Said product cannot be turned around into a refund.
6.Force majeure
6.1 When a final delivery time has not been met, YourFiction holds the right to invoke a case of force majeure. This can include machine defections, late material delivery, or the supplied piece from the client requires more post processing than bargained for (delays).
YourFiction will try their best to be as transparant as possible, and hope that this won’t happen often.
7.Pricing
7.1 YourFiction has the right to change prices accordingly. Prices at the time of placing an order are valid throughout the buying process, including agreed quotations. Static products are bound to be hit by inflation and thus may rise in price. YourFiction will try their utmost to notify affiliations about price increases, but please do contact us if you think a price is obviously faulty before accepting and paying the assignment!
7.2 YourFiction will always aim to strike a strong balance between quality and time. However, YourFiction highly respects said time. If you’re longing for a very high definition product (say, a high-quality dot engraved on a large surface), YourFiction holds the right to up the price.
8.Store
8.1 We accept all mayor credit cards, iDEAL and PayPal. Prices will be stated in euro (€). Payment options may change in the long run.
9.Shipping
9.1 I am not responsible for any lost or damaged packages. Once the parcel is dropped off, its out of my hands.
9.2 The country you live in reserves the right to charge custom fees. These vary by country, and are often applicable outside the EU. Please check with your country’s post for specifics.
